Skardu by Air — 5 Days

Five days in Baltistan, flown in and out of Skardu so your time goes to the valleys, not the road. You settle by the still water at Shangrila and Kachura, stand on the cold-desert dunes at Katpana, walk the old fort and wooden mosque at Shigar, and — when the season allows — climb onto the Deosai plateau above 4,000 m. Easy to moderate: short drives, comfortable nights, no trekking. The Skardu flight is quick but weather-dependent, so we build in a buffer.
